Measured, not guessed.
TrueSquare measures your roof from aerial imagery and public property records, calculates a replacement cost range from regional pricing, and gives you a report you can keep and take to any contractor. The measurement is free, and nobody has to visit your property to produce it.
How we make money
Contractors pay us for an introduction. That is why the measurement costs you nothing, and it is why one roofer receives your details rather than five.
When you ask for quotes, we pass your roof report and contact details to a single vetted roofer in your area, and that roofer pays us for the introduction. You are never charged, and your details are never distributed to a panel of competing contractors.
How the measurement works
Aerial imagery and roof modelling
Satellite and aerial imagery, combined with modelled roof data, gives us surface area, plane count, orientation and pitch for the specific address you enter.
Public property records
Parcel and assessment records add property detail such as stories and footprint, so the estimate reflects the home rather than a generic average.
Regional pricing
Local labour data sets the per-square pricing for your state, so the range you see reflects what roof replacement actually costs where you live.
What we cannot see
- Imagery has an age. A roof replaced last month will still show the old one.
- Tree cover and shadow can interfere with what the imagery shows.
- Decking condition, flashing and chimneys cannot be seen from above. Those are confirmed on a roofer's visit.
This is the same caveat shown on every estimate. An aerial measurement sets a realistic range; the final number is always confirmed on a roofer's visit.

We will not publish a measurement we have not actually taken
Every report on this site is computed from real aerial data for the address entered. If we cannot measure your roof, we say so instead of guessing.
We will not show a price we cannot support
Every range is built from measured roof geometry and current regional market data, with the full calculation shown on the estimate screen.
